Yellowstone has so much to offer. An abundance of wildlife, absolutely breathtaking landscapes and views of beautiful lakes, mountains, and meadows, and of course her incredible geological wonders.
We spent one day focusing on the geological wonders at Yellowstone.
Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park
Of course probably her most famous one is Old Faithful, a Geyser that shoots off regularly, not quite like clock work I discovered, but fairly close.
Personally I found Mammoth Hot Springs to be much more interesting, we were awed by the surrealistic landscape..
Mammoth Springs, Yellowstone
The area is full of hot springs, temperature of water ranging around 160 degrees farenheit. Makes for some interesting and active landscapes.
